About the Author

Originally from Dallas, TX, I recently moved to Boston to begin a new job as an assistant in development and fundraising at my undergraduate alma mater.  I’m a writer (maybe), a reader, a dancer and choreographer, an ever-improving cook, a wine-drinker, a lover and a fighter, among other things.  This is my newest venture into the blog universe.  We’ll see how it goes.

  1. Reading your blog posts, there ain’t no maybe about it, Lady! You are most certainly a writer! Give up questioning whether you have talent and ability — move right along to the hard part — deciding what it is you have to say and finding your unique voice: singing the song that you alone came in to sing. I’ll be back from time to time to see what you come up with. Whatever it is, I have no doubt that it will be written in an engaging manner. To your success!

I met you last night, very, very briefly, at the Wang gala. I was with someone, but I could not take my eyes off you. I am young (for the crowd last night), tall, and smitten with you. The combination of your warm eyes, flowing hair, and radiant personality that emanated when you danced, spoke, even walked, completely drew me in.
I just had to let you know, you made a boring night so much more enjoyable, and gave me a little hope. In my mind, that is one of the best compliments I can give someone. You gave me a lot to reflect on in my own dying relationship, and made me think.
I hope I see you again.
